It's all fun and games until a rat dies in the computer room

We had an AMAZING 35 salvations in the month of November. Isn't God amazing? We were so blessed to be apart of what God is doing in Mobile in the lives of Internationals. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for this ministry!!

We have just gotten word that the Alabama Port Authority is about to change the new regulations yet again. We are praying that this new change will be in our favor and that it will not prohibit us completely from ministering to the seafarers. We have been told by someone who works in the Coast Guard to "Watch Out". We aren't sure what that means. Pray that God will protect this ministry as He sees fit.

Recently, we invited a mold inspector to come in and check the building for mold. Both Jarrod and I have been sick in the past few months quite a bit and we were curious to see the extent of the mold. The inspector didn't have great news. He said that the mold is concentrated in the A/C ducts and that is was hazardous. Especially to Jarrod and I b/c we live and work in the same building. We have since found mold all in our a/c in our residence and are quite concerned.

On top of that - we invited a pest control company to give us a quote or some suggestions on how we can get better control of our rat problem. He discovered that in addition to rats and mice, we also have oppossums and squirrels living in our building. And right now, I can smell that something has died in the computer room near our residence. The pest control guy said that the feces and the decaying bodies were very hazardous to our health and that no one should be living here until it is under control.

We have contacted the appropriate people and we are praying that relief will come soon and that our health may not be affected, as a result.

Jarrod went to an Internal Medicine doctor today b/c he has been having stomach issues since his appendectomy last year. He has been referred to a gastro specialist and will see him tomorrow (Dec 5). They also want to do a CT Scan. They are looking at gastritis, a spasmic colon or Chrones Disease. Or something else. Pray for Jarrod's health.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. We need your prayer and we love each of you!!!

  • Pray for the International Christmas Celebration that is happening THIS Saturday at 7 p.m.
  • Pray for our living situation
  • Pray for Jarrod's health
  • Pray also for Jarrod's sister's brother-in-law -- David -- he is very sick with melanoma.
